Firefox’s Tab Candy is one of our favorite new features

We’ve always been big proponents of using alternative browsers like Firefox and Chrome, but Firefox’s latest Beta release includes some great features we think you should check out.  In addition to a faster browsing engine, Firefox has added a feature called Tab Candy which helps tame unweildly browsing habits.

If you’re anything like us, your browsing takes advantage of tabs to explore several different tasks.  Maybe you’re shopping for something in some tabs, checking social media in other tabs, and researching a vacation in yet another set.  Tab Candy lets you easily multi-task in an intuitive and graphical way.

Check out this great video below by Aza Raskin who demonstrates how powerful it can be.  Then download Firefox and combine Tab Candy with Firefox Sync, which synchronizes your tabs, history, passwords, etc. over multiple computers.  Leaving work?  No problem, the same tabs will be waiting for you at home!
